Description
Description
The body of this djembé is hand-turned from mahogany wood and covered with goatskin using a multi-layered alpine nylon polyester string. On the belly of the drum there is a braided carrying handle and a reserve string. The wood is varnished for visual enhancement and protection against moisture, warping and dirt. The base of this djembé is painstakingly hand-painted with traditional dot-paint in the style of Aboriginal artists. The production takes place in Bali.
