Guitar combo ampLong gone are the days when you would just turn up all the knobs on a Marshall and in that way could solely achieve the Classic Rock sound (including Tinnitus) and not too much else. The JVM215 is a 2-channel model with 50 W, which has much more to offer.
The most important thing first: The Sound. Besides having a great Clean sound (Clean/Crunch-Green-mode), this is a typical Marshall and as such offers a tonal range from quaint Plexi sounds to modern High-Gain. Another sound you get is a very atypical "American" clean sound, that other Brit-amps only rarely produce, this sound is truly good.
Theory of colours: The Clean/ Crunch channel provides 3 variations - Green, Orange and Red, which we know this from other Marshall products. At Orange the amp is already Plexi-style, at Red it will already go into the crunchy 80's sounds).
In the Lead channel you get different and equally great options - here you will find Gain in all dimensions - without being muddy and with the typical biting sound; if you prefer you can also more tame and creamy sound, any time you need these. On top of all that there is also the programmable 4-Way footswitch, which can be used to control all switch functions, this item is included.
Since this is a Combo-Version with a two 12-inch speaker, sound-wise it provides a non-tinny, nor hollow and nice open sound! Great sound with maximum flexibility and at a fair price!
